We visited the Cathedral of Strasbourg\u00a0<\/strong> The Cathedral of Strasbourg<\/strong> was the first cathedral of Germany<\/strong> (or Kingdom of Germania). Until the arrival of Louis XIV <\/strong><\/a>in 1681 and his minister of the war, the Marquess of Louvois <\/a>that camped in the environs of Strasbourg and forced their submission to the French monarchy the 30 of September of 1681.<\/span><\/p>\r\n The Cathedral was delivered by the same Luis XIV<\/a> The head of the Catholic <\/strong>bishopric of <\/strong>Strasbourg, Egon de Furstenberg<\/strong>. Wheel cranes, also called spinning “squirrels”<\/strong> and three-up raisers, are inside these machines.<\/span><\/p>\r\n The treadwheel crane<\/a> was a piece that required<\/strong> a great technical skill. Perfect assemblies and combinations of forces show their relationship with naval carpentry. In regions with a strong maritime tradition<\/a><\/strong>, carpentry teachers shared the construction of cathedrals<\/a> with work in the shipyards building ships.
