When was the first commercial coast to coast flight?

US History of Tourism, first coast to coast flight: Transcontinental Air Transport (TAT) was an airline founded in 1928 by Clement Melville Keys that merged in 1930 with Western Air Express to form what became TWA.   The Transcontinental Air Transport airline was like “The Lindbergh Line” and the idea began in the months after the 1927 transatlantic flight of Charles Lindbergh.

The archaeological site of Dahshur is an hour's drive from Cairo. It is on the western bank of the Nile River. There are several pyramids and new places to visit. An ancient wall, 60 meters long, was discovered south of the pyramid of Pharaoh Amenemhat.

Nearby, archeological excavations also brought out funeral masks and tools for carving stones. These artifacts date from the time of Lower Egypt, from 750 to 332 B.C.

For several years, Egyptian authorities regularly announce archaeological discoveries. This is due to a relaunch of tourism, affected by political instability. And also for the attacks recorded after the Egyptian revolution of 2011. The tourism sector in Egypt registered some improvement in 2018

Closed to the public more than 50 years ago, this weekend authorities in Egypt opened access to two pyramids in Dahshu. This place is south of Cairo and has a collection of sarcophagi, with mummies in very good condition.

Sarcophagi were discovered in stone, clay and wood, some of which have mummies in good condition.

This decree is due to the fact that the increase in tourist demand (over-tourism) increases the supply of operators. Which are not always legal or safe.
